Mikko's Rant

Things are looking significantly brighter than last time, with the Xbox
safely in our hands, and with some totally ace games too. Gamecube has
also been released, but we don't have the cash for a PAL version... yet.
In the meantime, I've pursued my project of collecting DC racing games.

And hey, we're three years old! It's gone so fast I really didn't even
notice our anniversary. I just recently ran into some of the (crappy)
machine descriptions I had written for the first version of PKP. Back
then, I had no idea that in three years we'd have 200 different
machines, 20 arcade machines, our own domain, about 70 000 visitors and a huge collective of friends from the gaming community. Thanks,
everyone! Manu is preparing a birthday present of sorts, check out his
Vectrex pages.

Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to say, once again, that
Grand Theft Auto III is a work of pure genius. I mean, it's around 6
months since it was released, and I haven't been able to stop playing
it. Sure, MGS2 was really sweet, what with all its nice items and dog
tags and such, but the replay value of GTA3 is damn near endless. So much to do, so many people to kill.

And as for the killing matter, I'm due for my military service on July
8th. Expect a drop in game acquisition frequency...
