Bleemcast
Now let's see what this turns out to be...
|
Intellivision
I didn't recall how much this ruled!
|
Linux kit on PS2
Could this be something cool on the dreaded thing? A
collectable-to-be at least.

Geographical distances
Clearly, nature did not have trades in mind when the continents
drifted apart.
|
Dreamcast in Finland
Aw crap. No release info anywhere, very few new games arrive...
|
Windows 98
OK, so I just lost all my emails. Great.

Mikko's rant
|
There have been no updates for a couple of weeks, due to me being
both very sick (no fun vomiting your guts out) and very very busy.
Just one more week of studies to go before the summer, though. On
the games front, I just spent $15 to buy a piece of plastic, i.e.
the PS2 vertical stand. Oh yes, it does look cool, but I can't
imagine it would have like killed the company to include it in the
"cheap" system package. And still it doesn't make the
games any better... Midnight Club is kind of fun, pretty much like
Midtown Madness but it doesn't have the real cars or quite as much
traffic. Nice graphics though. Still, the best kicks came out of
digging up the old Intellivision and having a go at Lock'n'Chase.
It had been a long time since I played this, and I had forgotten
how good it was. Nevertheless, it has to be said the Coleco
remains my all-time favorite classic system.
On a sidenote, last weekend I was at a party with some of my
girlfriend's friends. I took the PSOne with the Thrustmaster mat
& Jungle Book with me since I thought it might appeal to this
audience. When I spread the mat on the floor, everyone was going
"now what's that supposed to do", but when they saw the
game, the crowd went bananas. Everyone was up and dancing until
around 2 in the morning.
