Dreamarena for Dreamcast opened in Finland and registered Dreamcast owners (like us) got the 2.0 Browser disk and Chu Chu Rocket for free. Also bought RC De Go! for Playstation and some extra controllers. November 2000 November 29th Received Jet Set Radio for Dreamcast, an ACT Apricot F1e computer and a Tangerine Micro Oric 1. Wow we've gotten some nice stuff this week. November 27th Okay, bunch of new stuff: Sony PSOne, Fairchild Channel F with 5 carts (bringing the number of different systems in our collection to 150), another Gameboy Color with camera, printer and Metroid, another Game.com Pocket Pro (but this one works), another Sega Master System with two controllers and Bart vs. Space Mutants & Back to the Future II and a NIB Colecovision Atari adapter. September 2000 September 26th Received Silver for PAL Dreamcast, and a Philips VG-8020 MSX computer arrived via express freight on my front door (thanks, Stefan!). Manu sent us a picture of the Zemmix carts, see here. He also picked up Duke Nukem 3D, Frogger, Fighters Megamix and Monopoly for Game.com, so he'll have a healthy few items with him when he arrives on Thursday. September 21st Manu bought an RCA Studio II system in the USA, and also picked up a few Dreamcast games: Bust-A-Move 4 (yippee!), Seaman and Star Wars Episode I Racer. On a sidenote, he got married on Saturday: Congratulations! September 20th Updates have been a bit slow, as Manu guessed; nothing much going on. April 2000 April 28th Received the Sean Kelly Multi-Cart! for Vectrex. Lots of updates on the handheld page (some new systems, many new pictures, some new info). April 26th Forgot to mention one weirdish flea find : N-Sub CIB for Sega SC-3000 / SG-1000. April 25th Mikko made a great find at a flea: Two Colecovisions (1 complete) in suitcases (for rental). Pictures up on the Colecovision page. Also a picture of a SNES bazooka, the boxed Atari STFM and the cardboard Sonic. April 24th Some decent finds from fleas: Atari STFM boxed, Nintendo wrist watches.. also got a couple of Dreamcast game posters. April 19th An article about collectors was published in one of the biggest newspapers in western Finland, "Keskipohjanmaa". One third of the article was about Pelikonepeijoonit. Read it here in Finnish. April 17th 6000 visitors in less than a year! To celebrate this, we've got nothing special. April 9th A fair day at the fleas: 3 NES games (Solomon's key, Mega Man 2 and Metroid) for $7 and 2 Amiga 500's (with extra memories), monitor, printer, disks, stuff for $25. One thing forgotten from the list of things we've gotten lately is a biggish cardboard Sonic. And oh yeah, got to test Playstation 2 last friday.. February 2000 February 29th Last weekend went by fast playing Crazy Taxi (japanese version) on Dreamcast. February 22nd Received Coleco Total Control 4 with the football cart. I always imagined it to be much smaller. February 20th Bought Schneider CPC-644 computer, Probotector for NES and Dragon's Lair for Amiga. Gran Turismo 2 (PSX) has been played a lot for the past two weeks and Crazy Taxi (DC) is on it's way from Japan. On the other side of the Atlantic Q-bert (PB) for Atari 2600 and Mario All-Stars, Tetris 2 and Top Gear for SNES were aqcuired for us. February 17th Updated the Light Gun Gallery. Some minor tweaks here and there. February 15th We received the 2000 Eye Site award for "continued recognition and support of the classic gamer and computer enthusiast." Thank you. (Scroll to the end of this page to see the award). We also received our copy (#95) of Vecmania, the Vectrex multicart with all new games (8 of them altogether) by John Dondzila. Wooowie. Furthermore we got some credit on the Noutajat.net website with nice comments and a 5 star review. February 14th A generous offer by e-mail is going to get us a complete Micro-Professor II computer. Nice. February 11th Thanks to Markku Reunanen, we have now our own working counter, Atari font and all. Added the Nintendo Virtual Boy (finally) February 8th Mikko bargained some Jaguar games, Hover Strike for Jag CD and Double Dragon + Towers 2 for the regular Jag. Across the Atlantic some Atari games were found for us : Spider-Man and Amidar by Parker Bros. and Burger Time by M-Network. January 2000 January 29th Flea market got us a useless handheld that uses carts (LCD screens) : Interchangeable Game Child. Also got a cordless joystick for Atari/Sega/Commodore, a light gun for Chinese Subor TV-game and Pro-AM for NES. Passed several NES games and one Sharp computer. Updated Sega SMS page + some others. January 28th Got some stuff today. Another NES clone "Computer Video Game" with two pirate controllers and a pirate light gun. Another Sega Master System...but this one came in a Sega suitcase... also a suitcase for a SMS light gun, but the gun is missing.. there was a game called Bank Panic (SMS card) in there though. We also saw the first Atari 2600 we've ever seen in the wild, a mexican Megadrive II (?) and a NES clone called Gold Leopard King, but they were all too expensive.
