| Info : A
Sega Genesis & Master System (!) based system similar to the Nintendo
Playchoice 10. Has 8 slots for games and the cartridges look exactly like
Japanese Megadrive carts, but there's an extra BIOS in the carts so
they're not compatible with Genesis or Master System. After the Mega-Tech
Sega released a similar system called MegaPlay, which was JAMMA
compatible. MegaTech and MegaPlay carts are not interchangable. The
original cabinet has two monitors: one for playing, other for choosing the
game. Main CPU is MC68000 at 8 Mhz, sound CPU is Z80 (which is
the main cpu in Master System mode) and the actual sound chip is the
YM2612. The games we have for it : Moonwalker, Columns, Arnold Palmer Tournament Golf, E-Swat, Super Monaco GP, Super Real Basketball, Shadow Dancer and World Championship Soccer. Other games announced/released for the system : Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2 player split screen), Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Astro, Ghouls and Ghosts, Kid Chameleon, Tetris, Super Thunder Blade, Altered Beast, Space Harrier II, Out-Run, Shinobi, After Burner, Great Golf Alien Syndrome, Super Hang On, After Burner II, Thunder Force II, Forgotten World, Aleste II, Kujaku-O, World Masters, Black Belt, World Cup Soccer, Alex Kidd in The Enchanted Castle, Parlour Games, Super League, Fantasy Zone, Mystic Defender, Last Battle, ???
